Greetings! This is Sachiko from Guesthouse "Watausagi" 🐰 At long last... We’ve officially launched our YouTube channel!!

🌸Why did we start YouTube?

At Watausagi, we welcome guests from all around the world. But to be honest— I was an owner who couldn’t speak English.

“I want to say more, but I just can’t express it...” That frustration led me to start learning English, and eventually to launch “Watausa English,” a fun way to study together with locals and guests.

And because I wanted to share these wonderful encounters and daily moments with even more people— I decided to start a YouTube channel!

📺 Here’s what you can expect on our channel!

  • 🌍 Scenes from “Watausa English” — connecting with the world

  • 🗻 Introducing must-visit spots in Tsuruoka (Mount Haguro, Yudonosan, Dainichibō, and more)

  • 🍽 Enjoying local cuisine with guests and showcasing home-cooked meals

  • 🏡 Daily life at Watausagi and real conversations with our guests

  • 🎉 Local events, seasonal scenery, and little everyday moments

We’re just getting started, but we’ll be updating little by little 😊

And finally...

We’re still beginners at this, but through our videos, we hope to share even just a little of Watausagi’s atmosphere and the real everyday life here in Tsuruoka 🌿

We’ll be uploading videos at our own relaxed pace, so feel free to drop by and check them out whenever you have a moment♪
